We want to show you how to make an effective presentation using PowerPoint! We hope that these simple points will help you succeed in creating an easy and effective presentaion.

    The main purpose of any presentation is communication. You need to state your facts and information in a simple, concise, and interesting manner.

    It has been proven that people learn better and remember more information when the information is presented visually. You can keep people's interest and conduct an effective meeting using visual tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint. 

    The phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" remains true to this day. Simple, clear, and concise visual images, sprinkled with attention-grabbing graphics will lend support to your spoken words. This leaves your audience with a positive attitude toward you and your subject matter.  

    Your presentation needs to be well planned and executed to add tremendous strength to your subject matter.

    Finally, your presentation should be entertaining. Leave the audience feeling better and more relaxed when they leave and that impression will carry over to both your subject matter and yourself. (Eggleston, 2005, see reference page)
